About this festival
Kingsland Festival Twente is the eastern outpost of the Netherlands-wide electronic music festival. 27 April is King Willem-Alexander's birthday, so to mark the occasion the entire country gets the day off to celebrate in whatever way they see fit.
King's Day is the rowdiest holiday of the year and what better way to celebrate the birth of your king than with a massive EDM festival?
With five simultaneous editions across the country, Kingsland features lineups of some of the biggest DJs in the world, who all happen to be Dutch.
