About this festival
On 1 + 2 June 2018 the ELBJAZZ will feature about 50 musical acts of all varieties of jazz and related genres presented against the unique scenery of the Hamburg harbor. Since its foundation in 2010 by Tina Heine and Nina Sauer, thousands of guests have been thrilled by the jazz festival where the unmistakable maritime flair of the Hanseatic city of Hamburg meets musical diversity.
On two days, well-known artists and newcomers associated with jazz directly or in a wider sense will dominate the scene. The open-air and indoor stages are located at unique and unusual places in the Hamburg harbor. In 2017, a new venue was added, namely the recently opened Elbphilharmonie (Elbe Philharmonic Hall).
