About this festival

Since 2011 in the small village of Saint aubin-sur-mer, every summer appears a magical display of revelry via music, art and workshops, revealing one’s inner child with delight.

The festival is proud to have been part of the discovery of numerous artists such as
Juliette Armanet, Etienne de Crécy, Polo et Pan, Loyle Carner, Alex Cameron and Songhoy Blues.

An environmentally friendly festival
We take an eco-conscious stand on our materials and methods so that we uphold our values. Here are some of the ways we implement this.

A Charity festival
Pete the Monkey Festival is not just a fantastic family friendly adventure by the French seafront and forest, it is a charity festival at heart.

The festival was created following the success of a viral video. Its aim is to offer financial support to Jacj Cuisi Wild Animal Refuge and Rehabilitation Centre which looks after Amazonian monkeys victim of animal trafficking. We work hand in hand with this Bolivian conservation community called Communidad Inti Wara Yassi (CIWY).
