About this festival
As the name suggests, it's focus on metal and, in the first place, harder such. There will be thrash, black and death metal.
Gasklockorna is a well-known festival area for many and it is a stone's throw from Gävle city center, close to hotels, hostels, shops, as well as rail and bus. Within walking distance of the festival area there is camping for both tents and caravans.
There is a wide range of food and drinks in the festival area. The festival consists of three scenes, two outdoor and one indoor indoors in one of the gas clocks.
Gefle Metal Festival will work closely with local actors and the festival will have a thinking based on sustainability and healthy environment. And of course, on hard rock!
